Earth Hour 2018 was on March 24, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Described by its organisers as the world's "largest grassroots movement for climate change", Earth Hour  is a worldwide movement organized by the  World Wide Fund for Nature  (WWF). The event is held annually encouraging people to turn off non-essential electric lights for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 pm on a specific day towards the end of March, as a symbol of commitment to the planet.

Urban Air Pollution

Urban air pollution refers largely to the mixture of gases and small particles in the lowest hundred or so metres,a result of human activity associated with vehicles,road dust,domestic cooking and heating,power plants and other industries nearby,diesel generator sets,and the open burning of waste. Pollution gases are mostly colourless and odourless and include carbon monoxide,oxides of sulphur and nitrogen,ozone,and volatile organic compounds.

'Bamboo Chicken'

Tribal delicacy of Telengana and Andhra Pradesh. Bamboo forms an integral part of the lives of Adivasis due to its multifarious utility as an ingredient in tribal diet and a raw material for making artefacts of both utility and decorative value. The scientific method-Silviculture-should be employed vigorously to regenerate bamboo. 

Measles
