Mirza Ghalib

Ghalib born Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan, on 27 December 1797 – died 15 February 1869, was a prominent Urdu and Persian-language poet during the last years of the Mughal Empire. He used his pen-names of Ghalib and Asad.

"पूछते हैं वो कि ग़ालिब कौन है ?कोई बतलाओ के  हम बतलाएँ क्या ?"

"Hum ko maloom hai Jannat ki haqeeqat Lekin,Dil Ke Khush Rakhne ko 'Ghalib',Ye khayal Accha hai"

"Ishq ne 'Ghalib' nikamma kar diya,varna ham bhi aadmi the kam ke"

"Hazaron khwaahishein aisi ki har khwaaish pe dam nikle,bahut nikle mere armaan,lekin phir bhi kam nikle"

"Umr bhar 'Ghalib' wahi galti karta raha,Dhool chehre pe thi aur Aaina saaf karta raha"

"Dil-e-nadan tujhe hua kya hai,aakhir is dard ki dawa kya hai?"
